Office of the State Courts Administrator Appointed Interim State Courts Administrator was Lisa Goodner Kiel. She has over 35 years of experience in the state government, including 11 years as state courts administrator before retiring in 2014. Kiel replaces Patricia “PK” Jameson, who is now staff director for the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Criminal and Civil Justice.

Whitaker resigned in February amid a controversy over UCF’s misuse or planned use of $85 million in operating funds on construction projects. Whitaker was chosen by the trustees to serve last July.
