CAR RACING PENALTIES There are now increased fines and criminal penalties for illegal street racing, including drag racing and stunt driving. A definition was created for the concept of a “coordinated street takeover,” which involves 10 or more vehicles organized to take over a street. Spectators of illegal racing or street takeovers can be fined $400, up from $65.
DIGITAL VOYEURISM The definitions of digital voyeurism were updated to reflect the use of digital mediums and to reclassify criminal penalties.
DEAD BODIES Increased criminal penalties are in place for failing to report deaths or for disturbing a body to conceal a death or alter evidence.
FLOOD DISCLOSURE Sellers of residential real property are required to provide a flood disclosure to prospective buyers before executing the sales contract.
