The primary election will be held on August 28th and the general election will be contested on November 6th. Those who want to participate in the 2018 elections must already be registered to vote or register to vote 29 days before the elections. That would be July 30th for the primaries and October 9th for the general election. Go to RegisterToVoteFlorida.gov for more information about registration on-line, by mail or in person.
The early voting period will be August 18th-25th for the primary and October 27th-November 3rd for the general). Each county may expand those dates so check with your local supervisor of election for your early voting dates And, request an absentee ballot if you are not able to vote during the early voting period or on election day.
