Employment & Curfew For Minors The bill makes changes to the employment restrictions for minors. Minors 16 and 17 years of age would be permitted to work the same number of hours as a person 18 years of age or older. Local governments could not adopt or enforce curfews on minors that are more stringent than those listed within the bill.
Social Media Protection For Minors These bills require social media platforms to develop and implement a content moderation strategy to prevent a minor from being exposed to certain materials. They also require social media platforms to verify the ages of users creating accounts on the platform as well as to provide parents or legal guardians with parental control settings.
Vacation Rentals This would require advertising platforms to collect and remit specified taxes for certain vacation rental transactions and adds licensing to the regulated activities of public lodging establishments and public food service establishments which are preempted to the state.
Community Associations These bills would establish requirements and penalties for community association managers relating to conflicts of interest; revise and provide provisions regarding reporting requirements, financial reports, unit owner and board meetings, director education, contingent special assessments, criminal activity and penalties, legal actions, notices, and auditing.
